Re: 4age 16/20 timing
I usually get email notifications for PMs. I used everything from my 16v block. 16v oil pump, 16v lower timing sprocket and 16v crank pulley. So i could us all rwd 16v accessories and tensioner. You can use the 20v oil pump and tensioner, modifying the rod slightly longer. But i didn't trust the hyd...

Re: Small port head, bt 20v block.
pic didnt work, but my 20v block has the flat spot where the drain should be.
i believe the drain on the oil pan is a bolt on affair. I have not pulled that pan yet, so im not sure. Looks like some sort of plumbing fitting with a 90* elbow on it.

Re: Small port head, bt 20v block.
I bought the head on a low comp 3 rib block, there was a fitting added to the oil pan to run the hose for the oil drain.
I was actually debating on getting the OEM fitting to the block and do a little Drill and tap.
buttt, the bung to the oil pan is much easier(cheaper option)

Where can i put the oil drain on the intake side?
I have a 20v black top block, with oil squirters.
Do i need the intake side oil drain, or cap it?

If I can remember, I will take a pic tonight. In the mean time. The resistor pack mounts to a little bracket that is spot welded to the body under where the Maf goes.
Manifold bracket bolts to hole in side of manifold, other end is a threaded hole on the motor mount bracket.

Haha, I'd totally be interested in a trade if you give into that temptation. Thanks Mr Jerk! My vac nipples are broken worse than the other guys. The temptation to trade is real. Just to clean the wires up at the front of the engine. I already deleted the EGR

Check engine ground on intake manifold. But it really sounds like the IACV on the throttle body is not working. Stock Engine, Wiring, Sensors? are they all there? check the screw on the throttle body? for the bare minimum of vacuum lines, FPR, Charcoal can, everything else blocked. I do recommend a ...

I have an RS-R exmag gt2 with 60mm straight pipe and its loud af. I toyed around with putting in a Vibrant brand resonator in. Ended up going stock header, cat, rs-r catback with factory timing and she is very manageable noise wise. Due to relocating to a smog state. Lol In the middle of all that i ...

I too had this going on. Replaced center ds bearing, front drive shaft, etc.
Ended up being the oem lsd had broken. Which i figured out when it popped and started grinding.

I am also a victim of this. I was thinking about either making the plastic crumbly bits out of metal or something. Or finding something from another car that is a bit sturdier.

if your PCV is vented to atmosphere, the hot oil smell does not go away.
