Mine winks ;) (Driver side flips up, doesn't flip down...) I will try this method. Thanks![/quote] Sometimes this can be caused by the rod length on the actuator mechanism as well. When you set the headlight to the down position, quickly give the stuck headlight a slight push towards the open positi...

Re: Axle won’t fit with OEM LSD?
Hopefully you didnt damage diff or bend the axles.
The splines on the Kouki LSD axles are longer than the non-LSD axles. Its in the archive tech section.
Talk to a machine shop. Make sure they are still straight and ask them to increase the spline depth for you...

Re: Tips on Oil Restrictors
Actually, the 4age crankcase is vented, something I learned recently, there is no PVC it's just vented outside of the manifold. Run some wire through the 'PVC' port and you'll find it just ports the crankcase to a spot just ahead of the throttle body. So manifold pressure won't have an affect on ca...

factory oil pump & 8000rpm redline can't be compared to an elaborate dry sump & 9500+? rpm Totally different operating parameters. Wouldn't be surprised if the restrictor was 'overwelmed' in the latter Apples and oranges really. For a factory oil pump, high RPM is probably the worst case sc...

Re: Tips on Oil Restrictors
Not really the case here. the late 4AGE, small port head, has a secondary oil return to make up for the inadequate oil return of the earlier models. It is a good size return, 5/8" I.D. planted in the head where OST had shown the AN fitting. The block has a tube pressed into the side and they a...

Re: Tips on Oil Restrictors
In my opinion... the oil pressure up kit is a bandaid fix and could possibly contribute to the problem... If excess oil is being supplied to the head to the point it begins to pool, resizing the orifice to limit that flow is the ideal fix. You will still have adequate oil supply and reduce the volum...

Try cleaning the connection to the retract relay (by the battery). Make sure the pins/plugs aren't corroded or caked with crap, and the wires arent broke.
The grease that was used in this connector is old and gotten pasty over the years. Not to mention it likey has collected lots of crap too.

Set it to check for continuity and test between the "black" wire you think is for the Tach, and the black wire going to the igniter.

Do you have fuel pressure? Is the fuel pump still controlled by the COR? You should be able to hear the fuel pump turn on but it's better to verify this with rail pressure (pump could be running but not producing adequate pressure to get fuel atomization). When the AFM detects intake flow, it provid...
