Re: 20v bt not starting
might show a little low on the comp test since the engine is cold. dont forget to open the throttles all the way when you do the comp test. (i know you knew that, but sometimes silly stuff can thwart the whole mission) Plus, if the engine has been sitting(not running) for awhile the injectors can ge...

Re: Revving issues - 85' GT-S Redtop MAP setup
How did the Fuel inlet bolt get burned?
Check the usual suspects, timing(cam and ignition), vac leaks(check all vac hoses), make sure there is water and oil(stupid, yes. you never know), check for vac leaks at injectors, if its still being a PITA, clean Throttle body and check TPS with multimeter.

Re: need help with all the vacuum lines and water lines?
The electrical idle up valve, with the green plug. its to raise the idle a bit to compensate for electrical load, lights, blinker, etc. I disconnected mine and capped the vacuum ports. The three ports visible in your pic are vacuum for power steering and a/c. if you dont have either, cap them. do no...

Pretty much on anything that can be removed. fenders, hood, doors, trunk, inside of door panels, inside of the rear bumper. They are just printed stickers with a VIN on them. I will take a pic and post it.
One of the anti-theft ideas from the 80s. LOL

Re: Are there rare 1986 corolla Gt-s?
I have an '87 black gts coupe, no a/c, manual steering, power windows and sunroof. Almost the whole car, other than the engine and front bumper were original as they have the OEM style VIN stickers(that match my VIN) on all parts

Re: Our tail lights are reverse polarity?
I do not think you will need to cut and splice. Couldn't the wires be de-pinned at the plug and switched around? I would love to see these work and the final result.

Another COR thread
I have recently noticed that my COR (or something in its general location) is making a single click when I rev the engine past 1500 - 2000 rpms. Is this normal? My car seems to be running fine. She doesn't seem as fast as she was, but that might just be my perception. might be related, might not: Su...
