Re: Tips on recomending Full Exhaust System
Im in NOVA and the FFX county cops don't mess around. Ended up going back to a stock-like exhaust. The illegal exhaust tickets were getting into the $400 range. Not to mention being threatened with jail time or impoundment, for a fix it ticket. My buddy with HKS sport was getting tix as well out here.

I would try it. I did on my frankenstein 16/20. I eventually kept it as I like the midrange. Unplugging it will keep the butterflies open. i drove it for a week both ways.

cut and splice. or splice in some new connectors from amazon. If you wanted to be fancy you could find replacement connectors and make an adaptor harness.

Re: timing belt wont tension - 7rib -
16v timing belt with 20v oil pump is a huge pita to get to work. you can extend the 20v tensioner, which i did(drilled out an m6 allen bolt and tacked it onto the end of the tensioner. eventually, i switched out to a 16v oil pump with new tensioner, etc. if you are still running the 20v lower pulley...

"that makes the fuel pump function with the key in the ON position, maybe someone can clarify this for me." jumper the Diagnostic plug. this will put the engine into diag mode and will bypass the AFM fuel pump switch. I think you need the FSM(link to it is in my sig) Kind of sounds like th...

Re: NITROUS WITH SIDE DRAFT CARBS
You need a wet system--one that injects both fuel and nitrous. These are usually mixed at the jet nozzle. You could run direct port with a jet to each manifold runner or...create a standoff nitrous injection system. You don't necessarily need an entirely separate fuel system for nitrous. Most peopl...

you could fiber glass it from the inside and bondo it, but it will probably crack or come out or do something a welded in plate will not do

did you see the amount of corrosion in the waster jacket and where the crack was.. wanna bet that had something to do with it.
I have actually never seen a cracked cylinder wall in a 4age IRL. they are very stout. IIRC that block ran at those boost levels for over a year.

Re: maximum bore possible
And the posts earlier in this thread didn't answer your question? I have never heard of someone sleeving a 4AGE. Honestly I don't believe it's practical because by the time you get to a bore big enough to need sleeves the material between cylinders would be too thin to take a sleeve. With that said...

blocking the inlet on the intake mani, and a filter on the catch can, even temporarily will tell you whether or not it is getting pressurized that way. you should be blowing your dipstick out when you hit boost too.

I bet you are pressurizing the crank case, because of the valve cover breather hooked up to intake mani. no pcv valve or one way valve to stop the crank case from getting boost.

I take the headers off. and jack the tranny up under the bell housing to tilt it up. attach hoist, rock it a bit, pops right out.

Re: Spark plugs problem
NGK BCPR5EGP 1.1mm gap for stock. might close the gap a bit if you raise compression.
NGK plug wires work quite well and fit perfectly.
Missing might not be the Plugs or wires. Check out your cap and rotor for wear, also check inside of dizzy for oil leaks(bad seal, pretty common)
