There are 2 types of sensor on the AE111 BT engines, I guess the earlier cars have the exposed spade type sensor and the later ones have an enclosed type connector.
You could use a female pin from an unused connector(evap vsv etc.) and join it to your temp gauge sensor wire.

Re: Can these be blocked of
I take it the engine is staying FWD. At minimum you will need to keep the 16mm thermostat bypass pipe from the head coolant outlet to the thermostat. Oh and obviously the main 30mm radiator pipework. There are two 8mm hoses feeding the throttle body(T/B) to provide cold running idle up, removing the...

Do Richmond still sell new 6.7" ring and pinions? They don't have them listed on their site.

Re: Rear end in AE86 that can take 350hp.
I have the Cressida wagon rear which I believe is a 7.8 inch rear. I think I just need something a little stronger than that. Like I said the rear end lasted for about two years with extreme abuse so it wasnt a bad choice. Sounds like you have an F series 7.5" rear end and should have 28mm axl...

The EPC shows the small size is 35mm (5 in the block) and the 1 bigger sized plug is 40mm.
So on the exhaust side there's a 40mm plug beside cyl 3 and a 35mm plug by cyl 4.

I did a wire tuck and brake pipe tuck on my Charmant but felt I'd prefer to keep the AE86 fuse/relay box in place. Future plans are ditching the GZE ecu and fitting an Omex 600 aftermarket ecu running 36-1 crank wheel and wasted spark. I used the separate rear bias valve and front splitter from a Ja...

The three red rubber things seem like they could be the spacers for the rail, however I feel like the washers is missing. No clue what the the spring and gigantic screws are, nor the black thing. The bolts could be for a strut brace or for suspension RCAs, the red rubbers look to be the end seals f...

I got an SW20 3S-GTE DIYAutotune PNP ecu for my blacktop, it plugs into the loom and started straight up, but obviously needs a tune to suit the N/A 1600. The ecu comes with a GM air temp sensor that you have to wire in, you could use the 20V sensor but the GM one is an open element type sensor. You...

Re: What consumables are needed for a ring and pinion swap?
Locking tabs don't fit too well with aftermarket lsd so I use medium strength locktite on them.
You might want a pair of single and double side nut locks depending on where they end up after the setup is complete, you will have 2 from your 3rd member already.

As the spacer and nut are cheap it's wise to buy 2 of each in case you over tighten the nut and collapse the spacer too much.

Re: Trueno emblem and pop-up shroud screw size?
The bumper emblem uses a retainer plate p/n 75324-12020 and a screw p/n 93567-54512.
There are square pop in plastic inserts p/n 90189-04022 that the shroud screws screw into.
