Re: aceforever's panda build log
The spoon inserts are basically collared washers which are designed to take out the play/gap between the mounting holes on frame/x member, and the fasteners. As result they center the fasteners within the mount holes which centers the x member, in theory... as long as frame is straight. 75w-90 is a ...

Re: aceforever's panda build log
Glad you got the suspension issues sorted. (The x nember centering issue makes me think the spoon cross member inserts might not be a bad idea.) I used conventional valvoline 75w-90 in 2 different t50s without issue. However, i might splurge and get some gl4 next time since the oem calls for it. (It...

Re: AE86 Aero question...
Minimally equipped foreign cars are worse. After ditching ac, switching to manual rack, levin front/jdm panels tge car is noticeably lighter up front and less stable at higher speeds. Even worse if the car has a mild drop, or at stock height (gasp) like me. Rear spoiler alone will just make the prob...

You can also remove some of the springs so the load up / ramp rate is less aggressive.
No experience with trd, only heard theyre slightly less aggressive and stout compared to cusco/tomei/kazz /etc.

Re: LSD question
What you described (buying complete pumpkin) will be easiest as long as its in good working condition - lots of variables with an old used unit though. Plus, you prob want to at least replace bearings while out, and that will require hiring a pro unless one can do it themselves. If you like doing th...

Side note: considering you liked the oem unit... if the car is driven on the street and your not trying too drift... i recommend having a new lsd adjusted from its new/default setting before install (at least talk about with a pro). New lsd units are setup for racing/drift and are often adjusted to ...

Re: 4age Hard Start, Occasionally stalls
The lack of cold start injector likely explains the excessive cranking, and also possubly the hard start. When you 'clutch in' you basically mean neutral right? (In other words: idle is really low and fluctuates some, even when warm?) Tps abd ignition timng wiuld probably be a good place to start - ...

It will be best to run a line to the sump for a drain. Even in rwd layout it doesn't drain enough when the roads start to get twisty. I only want one for ease of use in regard to belt tension (one person using a pry bar on oem setup is ridiculous, plus intake has to come off...) Its basically the sub harness for the ac evap and also is the idle up circuit for the fan. You also need the ac amplifier, but its probably still attached to the evap box.

My ecu throws code 11. It's been this way for years and the engine has always ran good and passed emissions. In lieu of much talk about code 11/tps recently on the forums I decided to attempt adjusting my tps to spec via the procedure in the service manual, but was unable to do so, i think... TOYOTA...

Re: 4AGE not running right, help is appreciated
Did you check for cel/codes? Most seem to throw code 11/tps (unless previously serviced) which doesn't allow the ecu into diagnostic mode, and thus, you won't be able to set the timing as per the service manual. However, you can use a timing light to see if ignition is at 16* btdc - without the the ...

Bride fg goes lower. Nagisa and memory fab have some that that go slightly lower than bride, but the sliders aren't dual locking like bride. Also, try taking out the butt cushion on the seat, if applicable. That's how I rocked my recaro pole position and spg = extra head room and better fit to seat ...
