hi guys i would like to know if the ae92 come with manual rack from factory and what year.thanks

Base models did, at least for sedans. I have one that I pulled from a 1989 Geo Prizm. It's more turns lock to lock than a PS rack, but I like having less to maintain or be in the way in the engine bay.

Yes, you will need:
• manual rack
• brackets & bushings x2
• firewall shroud x2
• steering column (all I've found are non-tilt) **
• knuckles are supposed to be different, I have a set but never compared them to my PS knuckles
** If you have a tilt column with power steering, you will need to extend the splined end of the shaft that comes after the U-joint. I had a friend help me by cutting the shaft, then welding in a piece of round stock so that the PS column would reach the manual rack.

For my AE95 wagon, I had to drop the subframe in order to get at one of the rack brackets. It was a headache. FWD may be different.
