Anyone done a RAM air?
Anyone done a RAM air?
With my car dyno'ing 10 more hp with cold air blowing on the intake I was thinking of doing a Naca scoop and fabbing up some sort of a ram air. has anyone tried this before?

Re: Anyone done a RAM air?
Back in the early 1990's, I rebuilt a Ram Air 1970 428SCJ Mach1......
But that is not the point....
cold air induction is nothing new.... Typically the base of the windshield has outside air @ pressures that can improve induction.
I've always thought drawing air from under the car might work as well....

I wonder if this would work.. Miata style head light cover naca duct.
But on the other side. under the hood, a box around the filter to block it from engine heat

nice... Any Naca duct has to be behind the headlights as the radiator is in the way.

it could be on the corner of the hood. i would have to look at what the headlight looks when the cover is off. might be able to move some stuff around to get the air to flow through the part in the core support that is behind the headlight.
this is supposing air filter is in stock location.
in Oki we ran a pipe under the headlight out the kouki bumper corner light hole. All night driving so i didnt care if the headlights couldnt go down
