Hi again. I am trying to figure out the fuel line configuration for the 20 V Does the return to the fuel tank come off of the intake? If so where is it located. I am assuming the inlet is the larger banjo fitting at the rear of the engine Also what psi do the systems like to run at?

The fuel return is at the front of the engine from the fuel pressure regulator (FPR) there's a short hose about 3 inches long between the FPR and the steel pipework under the throttles. The fuel feed is at the back of the engine through a banjo fitting.
The manual states there should be 34-40 psi of fuel pressure without the vacuum reference hose connected.

So the regulator is after the fuel goes to intake? Can I use an aftermarket adjustable regulator?

You have an internal fuel rail in the inlet manifold and the fuel travels from the rear to the front and out through the regulator.
Tom's did a bolt on adjustable FPR but very rare these days, you may be able to convert the original regulator with a B&M kit or use an adapter and remote mount an AFPR.
But do you even need more fuel pressure?

No I don’t need more pressure but this is going in a non Toyota platform. I’m adopting the tank to an in-line filter and didn’t know how it would work with the 20 V regulator. So on the original 20 v set up the pump pushes full pressure from the tank and isn’t regulated till after it goes through the intake manifold?

Yeah, high pressure fuel on 1 side of the regulator and low pressure on the other. The regulator sets the fuel pressure.
The return side has a rubber hose with a simple spring type clip on it.
