Re: Good High tech 4AG info
Watched the last 3 episodes and have to admire the dedication of the characters. But
I do find it odd that with an engine they are revving to 10,500rpm they didn't have
two-stage rev limiter set on their ECU. Turbo engines keep making power and will
eagerly over-rev given the chance. And high rpm is hard on rod bolts as was seen in the
after event analysis.
Life can be tough when you are pushing components to their limits to get that little bit
more that everyone loves. Fortunately it was only pride that was hurt, and I hope that
the team come back stronger and wiser next year.
Cheers... jondee86

Re: Good High tech 4AG info
Watched the whole thing, a bit of fluff that slowed it down a bit. "Race day", I thought it was a bad idea when they removed the limiters. Racing is conceived as a "win or break" situation, but it's not really. Gotta make it to the finish! You only push to 100% when you know your capabilities are 110%. Even then things break. Nature of the beast and all.
One shot, one kill.

more 4age stuff
I would use AE101 GZE instead of 20V bottom end for any future projects (if I could find one)
