is it possible to use a 4-ac engine oil pump on a 4age block? I really hate how it's always a pain to take off the timing gear off 4age engines because of the way toyota decided to design the 4age oil pump.

AFAIK the 4AC fuel pump is a low pressure mechanical pump mounted on the
rear of the head and driven off the single camshaft. There is zero chance of
mounting it on a 4AGE. The 4AGE fuel pump is a high pressure electric pump
mounted in the fuel tank.

I really think you should not post after you have been smoking. Or if you must,
send me some of dat sh*t so I can understand your question :)

The 4ac and the 4age use the same type oil pump that mounts behind the crank pulley/lower timing belt sprocket.

Would you be able to take a picture of the part you are asking about?

depending on lower timing cover differences... the external may be slightly different. I ran into this when I tried the G oil pump and then tried to fit the "F" timing cover... it doesn't completely line up....
