One silver 1987 FX-16 gt-s 229k this FX was towed behind a motor home most of it's life this car is in incredible shape!
I know I know "towed behind a motor home" sounds wishy washy but the car speaks for it's self. It's bone stock excluding drilled and slotted rotors with hawk pads and a $800 dollar bluetooth stereo set up that sounds incredible!Everything is in perfect working order on this car and will remain that way for many more years!! Yes even the AC blows ice cold! The custom made gortex seat covers are to protect the pristine seats underneath not hide worn out seats. I will add a photo of the seats without the covers  If you are wondering if their's rust the answer is no it has lived in the high desert of Nevada where we don't salt roads and have very little water. Some of the photos are from are from when I first got the car. I have since replaced the rims and had seat covers done with hand sewn leather steering wheel cover at the same time. This car comes with another complete set of front headlights with the side markers. One of the markers on the car has a crack so I got another set just haven't changed it out yet. YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER STOCK FX IN THIS GOOD OF SHAPE!!!!!!!

The other red 1987 FX gt-s is 100% complete but needs a engine rebuild it starts and cycles through all the gears but has very low compression as well as a cam seal that leaks oil BAD! The interior is in great shape and has very nice rims :ugeek:.
I'm willing to deliver both of the cars a reasonable distance for the cost of fuel. Both cars are in Reno NV. My price is firm! 1,000 for the red and 5,000 for the silver.

That sounds like a good deal but must have a lot of picks before I can come all that way and not take it because of rust issues.
Would the car make a drive back to Ohio or should it be towed?
1st. I would want pics with out the Trim between Ft. and Rear fenders and under the doors. Of course this means both sides.
2nd. Need pics of floor pans inside and out.
3 rd. pics of the hatch door inside and out and including the spare tire well.
4 Th. Does it pop out of any of the gears?

If the red one is still for sale I'd be quite interested. That's a great set of pictures you posted. I thought I had looked closely at mine, but you put me to shame.

You can thank Buffalohunter for the detailed set of photos. He was very intrested in the car and wanted detailed photos before he came across the country to fetch it then his car died and he has no way to retrieve it

I sent you a PM, but being new to them, I'm not sure you received it. I gave my email address. I'd like to talk to you about money and a couple of other details. Let me know if you need me to resend.

I spoke to you some time ago about the red fx16, and there was a question about the title. Did that get resolved, and is the car still available?

As a testament to what God can bring me through, I went out to pick this car up fore the 2nd. time and just like the 1st. trip I got almost 1/2 way there and my Durango started acting up again and had to fight to keep the engine from over heating. Finely made it to Reno Nevada and found out that my engine had blown both head gaskets by having a shop do a leak down test. BUT before that I tried the fix a head gasket leak in the bottle and a [warning] to all " save your money and time AND do not go that route". Waste of time and money. Than when we started to see if this junk would work , we checked fore water leaks and the water pump started to leaking. That is when I said we need to get this to a shop and have a leak down test done.
The test showed both side's where leaking and would take at least 5 days to fix my truck. So a 5 day trip turned into a 12 day trip. Before I took it to the shop, I also purchased a new Rad. When I took the old one out and compared the new to the old, the old one weight about 10Lbs. more than the new one.
Probably what was the start to all the problems!!

Any ways I am home now and I have a completely rust freeeeee 1987 Toyota Corolla FX-16 with a spear Tranny and about 2- to 3 very little dings over the whole car. Will post before and after pics after a complete rust proofing and new paint job and don't know fore sure as of right now, whether to convert it to all Electric or keep it as a gasoline vehicle!!!!!????
I look forward to taking it to car meets and keeping it looking like it just came off the show room floor.
