Car just sat for 10 or so years and the r12 was really low so converted it over to r134a.
Re: What did you do to your car today?
Nice! Did you replace all the o-rings, or just evac and recharge?
I'm thinking of charging with R12A (very different from R12) since it's supposed to be better for original R12 systems.

Re: What did you do to your car today?
Spend the weekend cleaning the enginebay. What did i get myself into... Probably hasn't been cleaned in 20+ years. Dodgy repairs and grime everywhere. Also my distribitor o-ring is leaking so there's oilspray on everything.

Re: What did you do to your car today?
About halfway through my distributor rebuilt. Got 2 new seals on, drilled out the little pin in the shaft/gear. Still have to get a bearingpuller to get the bearing out and replace the inner seal.
Finished most of the enginebay cleanup and retaped alot of the wiring in wiring loom cloth tape.

Re: What did you do to your car today?
Didn't do it today, It was a few weeks ago while I was back home on leave. Replaced the busted P/S rack with a re-manufactured one, inner and outer tie rods, tape measure front alignment (totally nailed it, drives perfectly straight), finally fixed the shotty wiring job the previous owner did for the amps and speakers he put it, (BTW there is no reason to have 4 6x9 in the back window, and 2 6" speakers in the back seat side panels), replaced driver and passenger door panels with some clean ones I bought on FB, (again, previous owner decided to paint the old one black with oil based paint, so it ran, dripped, and melted in the heat), and replaced both front seat-belts with universal 3-point replacements, all in one day. This car need a lot of TLC, and I still have a ways to go, but it will be worth it in the end

Re: What did you do to your car today?
Still in tear down mode for my 20v swap. Worked on pulling the rest of the heater box and everything under the dash (I'm going to be running just a half dash with no heat/ac). Also pulled the old 4ac broken cruise control and power steering lines. Still trying to decide if i'm going to b uy a manual rack or just loop the lines on my ps rack. Been working on cleaning up the engine bay with simple green as well, works amazingly! Trying to decide what color I want to paint my bay/stripped interior. Thinking a darker grey..

Picked up a Borg Warner S366 for it (T4 .91 flange, marmon style outlet), and started figure out what I need to do to the intake for matchporting and proper flow.

Also debating tube framing the rear end, and hacking out the front strut turrets and replacing them with double wishbones up front and double adjustable afcos all around. And I've started my wheel hunt, 15s aren't going to cut it; so it's either 17s or 18s, offsets will depend on what the overall layout will be, widths will be WIDE.
Re: What did you do to your car today?
finally painted and installed my jdm zenki rear bumper.
used a Swangbiz bar
now the rear matches the front.
