Tanks are the same size and shape, so whatever fixings you
have for holding the tank to the car will work with either one.
You will need to swap the GTS pump bracket out for the SR5
fuel pickup... drops straight in with the same gasket and screws.

Make sure you hit the bottom of the tank with a rubber mallet upside down, and rinse out the inside. Old tanks usually have tons of flaky rust inside and cleaner you have it, the less stuff that will give problems at strainers and fuel level gauges sensors.

Do I still need to do that if im doing a full gts swap or only if im using a GTS tank withthe 4ac?
If they are the same size and shape is there any reason that I should be using the GTS tank over the SR5 one?

Wouldnt have thought of that! Do you have a suggestion on what kind of cleaner to use?
Re: SR5 and GTS gas tank use same mounting stuff?
If you are doing a SR5>GTS conversion you need to use the
complete GTS tank, because you need the EFI fuel pump that
lives inside the GTS tank. You will also need the GTS fuel, vent
and return hard lines.

Since they are the same shape can you put an efi fuel pump in the SR5 tank?
