Has anyone got first hand experience of modding the brake pedal ?
My brake servo has gone so I decided to remove it
Fitted a techno toy tuning delete plate and a MK1 Toyota Rav 4 master cylinder which is 7/8".
Then removed and drilled another hole higher in the brake pedal, I had read online that no more than 7 degrees higher otherwise it will press down rather than just out.
I have no idea how to work out 7 degrees do had a guess at this ?
Greased it all up but can't test it yet as still waiting on a modded propshaft.
Any thoughts appreciated, hope it was worth the effort!

Brake pedal pressure mod
Re: Brake pedal pressure mod
The reason for the 7* is because you will start sideloading the piston and seals in the master cylinder at greater angles. If you need a higher lever ratio, then I would suggest that you actually move the master cylinder up, so it aligns with the higher attachment hole on the pedal.
Typically a ratio of 5 or 5.5 to 1 should give you good pedal feel, but some driver use as high as 7 to 1 with manual brake system, but you are going to have a much long pedal travel, but the system will require a lower pedal pressure. Dave W
