Hey everyone, hope this is in the right section. I am located in western Canada and wondering where to source floor mats for LHD AE86 hatch.

I'd be happy with OEM ones, the karo chequer ones, or pretty much any aftermarket brand. My only criteria is that they are brand new, and either black, black/grey, or black/red - not interested in the Bride ones. Also I need them to fit 100% in the LHD cars.

If anyone has RHD mats installed in a LHD car, I'd really appreciate a picture or text description of how well they fit. My car interior is in really great shape, (aside from lacking mats) and I don't want things to stand out or look sloppy.

non-RHD mats are slim pickings unfortunately. Every once in a while something pops up on Ebay, but most people either run OEM dealer mats, the 10,000,000$ bride mats, generic mats that don't exactly contour, or a couple of aftermarket offerings.

I have checkered mats that are LHD which came with the car.


I believe mine are "Weapon R" mats or something. Pretty much Walmart Karos, but quality is decent.

Thanks man, those look pretty cool. Yes the bride mats cost a lot and don't really flow with my oem interior, and I was looking at some RHD chequer ones which were asking $550USD (not karo, can't remember the brand)

I love Karo mats, but I just really like wjen things fit properly. I'm sure you can trim them to make them more flush with the floorboard but it's probably not worth it.

update, I was asking at the dealership and they told me the OEM mats were out of production since the early 90s!!! has anyone had luck finding them?

Anyway, that sounds about right. A pair of sick trueno mats sold for 140 USD in mint condition. Just be patient.

You can also find generic Toyota mats with cool patterns.
