High Beam Indicator to Haltech iQ7

Postby zenkicpe » Thu Jun 15, 2023 10:46 am

Would anyone happen to know which wire(wires?) I need to feed into a Haltech iQ7 to get the high beam indicator to function properly? Right now I have it tied into the power wire feeding the High Beam Indicator light, but this creates an "Always On" indicator light. I am also curious if its a programming issue in Haltech ICC dash software, where my channel values perhaps need to be adjusted. I have had no luck finding anything helpful online.

Anyone have any insights??

Looking at the wiring diagram I think that you need to tap into the OEM indicator light
circuit wiring where I have placed the legendary red circle :)

As I read it, the high beam indicator is turned off when the light switch grounds the
low beam circuit. Then the voltage on the low beam wiring after the headlight bulbs
and before the indicator light drops to zero.

Thanks Jondee, I believe I am tied into the R/G wire at the cluster harness. I will have to confirm this later today when I have the opportunity. Ill report back on any developments.

Got it working, thanks for the help Jondee

It was indeed that R/G wire, I was tapped into the wrong pin. :o
