That is without a doubt the most perfect drift car I have ever seen!! You best put some wheels on that bish and go for a drive.
Re: My Corolla... Back Again
stage 3 weight reduction. might be a little cold for the commute to work though.
i knew you wouldn't be wasting any time on that ****. glad to know you're back on the wagon so quickly, wish i could have convinced you to stay levin front on the coupe though. lmk if you want help, i'm about to get rid of the engine hoist i have sitting in my yard because it sucks so hard for big engine stuff. would be perfect for a smaller, lighter 4 cyl though. i'll even deliver it, free of charge! it could use new casters and the ram leaks but it works.
if you need anything, just let me know.

Steering rack cleaned and repainted. Bought new bearings and pinion seal from Toyota. Need to pick up grease and the correct rack boots and it'll be finished.

Made a trip out to Mark's house today to drop off my Levin DMax hood, Zenki Levin grill, and Levin fog lights as a donation to his project and he made a contribution to mine...

Re: My Corolla... Back Again
black limited badge? super cool. did you guys get the rest of the car cut up Saturday?
Re: My Corolla... Back Again
Yes... black limited badge. And no... we didn't get the car cut up all the way yet. I'm gonna see what I can get cut up tomorrow night and shoot to have it all finished over the weekend. Picked up one steering rack boot that was the correct size today along with the moly lithium grease. Both racks are assembled and I'll have the other 3 boots tomorrow. I'll post up finished rack pics tomorrow.

Met up with Thaison yesterday to do some trading. Picked up the Kouki front bumper, corner lights, and eye lids. Trying to decide whether to use the black limited emblem...

Re: My Corolla... Back Again
The red coupe is now sitting in the garage and it's going to be more work than I anticipated.

Re: My Corolla... Back Again
Turns out the previous owner of the red coupe did a TON of butchering to the sheet metal. They cut out the entire front radiator support. Including the part the headlight brackets and motors attach to. They cut a hole in the spare tire area to accommodate a fuel cell. And they cut the taillight panel in order to fit Kouki taillights onto a Zenki chassis. I already have parts to fix the front radiator support and spare tire area but the taillight panel I haven't sourced yet.
A HUGE thank you goes out to egjoe for sending me black sr5 rear interior panels...

Re: My Corolla... Back Again
I need to take current pics of the interior parts and progress but I'm almost finished sourcing all of the black interior parts I needed to have a nice, complete interior. Or as complete as I am planning to put in the car. I put a bunch of dry ice to work about 4 weeks ago and knocked out all of the sound deadening.
Picked up an S13 brake booster and will be giving it a try to see how if effects my pedal feel with my brake setup.
Finished removing all of the old core support shite from the coupe and a friend brought by a spot weld drill bit that was a life saver. Made quick work of the donor core support. still needs to be welded in but it's starting to look like a car again.
Machined another set of 1-1/8" subframe spacers as I am shooting to put the solid motor mounts I machined probably a year ago to use. I'm building a new engine subframe to accommodate this new setup. Should be nice when finished.
Gotta pick up some new lower ball joints soon so I can get them installed in my modified lca's and attach the modified steering knuckles. With this done, the new engine subframe/motor mount setup, and new steering rack setup my front suspension shall be complete. Now if only I could make progress on my rear suspension...
The few pics I gots...
