Toyota announced that the Lexus GS will end production soon in August, and Subaru will produce the last 1st generation Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ in July, May for European markets. Last batches of the 86 and BRZ are already on the boats for some counties as we read this.
We will see two driving enthusiast's machines from Toyota end production.
They will go out silently, while the attention for most people are towards much more critical issue of how to stay under a roof and put food on the table, in the madness of Coronavirus pandemic and economic halt.
I would like to wave them good bye, with the deepest of respect to all of those who designed and toiled to get the car to market, and pushed for their sales all over the world.
The two final editions are graced with black painted farewell models it seems. Toyota 86 Black Limited, and Lexus GS Eternal Touring Edition.
