Re: FC mirrors

Thanks man! I have read that only two bolt holes were used as well. Did you have to trim away any of the plastic at the base of the mirror? I appreciate the reply.

ae101 intake valve

Im looking to replace an intake valve on my 20v silvertop.

My search has turned up this part number 13711-16040

Ive had no luck cross referencing.

So my question is, does anyone know if there is a state-side option available? I can only seem to find supertechs for sale here in the US.

FC mirrors

Ok.. So i have heard that FC RX7 side view mirrors can be modified to fit the ae86. Instead of re-inventing the wheel, does anyone know of tips or tricks, or a general direction to head in? I purchased a cheap set of FC mirrors and after my intial assessment, it appears it may be possible but will t...

Re: Mike Kojima made me cry

I see his points with the early engines, and really there are much better engine designs today. But in the real world I can kick the snot out of my 20v all day, sounds amazing, looks good, and just simply works. Fun article to read so I thought id share so we can discuss.. In the comments in the art...

Re: 96 Geo Prism

Haha.. No I understand clearly Kuddster. I merely recommended keeping your FX16 and swapping in the 20v, as I think that would be a riot to drive. If you want the 20v for your prism then rock on! Make an ad for the FX16 in the for sale section, that section sees alot of traffic Theres one for sale t...

Youre welcome Kuddster. Sounds like you have a nice FX16 on your hands, you should try your luck in the Cars for Sale section on this site.
I really think that your FX16 with the 20v swapped in would be the ticket, just my opinion. Good luck!

Ok I see you are in WV. Fortunately for you there are a few JDM engine importers on the East Coast. Just what seems to be malfunctioning with your current switch? Does it seem to get "stuck" between high and low beam, leaving you with no lights?

Re: Another 4AG Problem

I would def still check the tank as there might be something wrong with your pick up on your pump, but it does seem strange that the level of fuel does not matter. I would start at the tank though, not too difficult to drop and check. Keep us posted, and good luck.

If it is the fuel tank causing your problems you will find the same issue happening with the supra pump.

Re: Another 4AG Problem

Is it a GTS or a SR5 converted to GTS? If it is an SR5/GTS conversion, and the GTS tank and fuel lines were not swapped over, you are likely running an un-baffled fuel tank. When you initiate a "hard" right turn on 1/4ish tank, all of your fuel is sloshing away from the fuel pump pick up, ...

Re: Obx catback twin tip exhaust??

Im running this exhaust, it is loud. I wouldnt have it any other way. Fits well enough, had to get a little creative with the exhaust hangars, had to search for rubber hangars that worked nice. Sits low but not too low, what else can you expect from an under diff system. Im running the OBX header, a...

Gaijin, I'd really like to know more about the issues you speak of regarding the cop's, I haven't heard anything negative other than the coil packs themselves potentially failing prematurely due to firing 2x's more often than normal, and the coil itself being a minor hazard while under the hood with...

Re: 20 v blacktop swap ..need ecu option advice

Blacktop AT ECU, for the higher rev limit. I dont know who told you that using COP's would ruin your engine but that is a load of crap. Plenty of guys using them with no issues, myself included. I would recommend using Honda D17 coils from 02-05 civic and I do recommend using the Honda OEM ones alth...

Re: How to seal quater glasses

I used the tape, napa brand butyl rubber. Works great I don't have any leaks and its super easy to set and work with. I wouldn't use it on the front windshield lol but I make the argument that its quite suitable for the quarter glass. Cheaper and a lot less messy too. Just my opinion.

I'm running OBX 20vST header for about a year now. Had to persuade the floor a little, but otherwise fits just fine nice and snug. Good power, good sound.
