FS: Carbon center console and mirror covers

I have a center console I've had for a little bit. It has some minor damage but It still looks great. 60 shipped. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/673/T98OKL.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/538/YFvknH.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/901/JTgKIQ.jpg http://im...

Re: Oil Temp sensor mounting??

I ordered the M12, Thanks! I will tell you this, whoever is in charge of shipping at greddy is an asshole because it costs 16.52 to ship it!! That's effing ridiculous for a bolt! It costs more to ship it then it does to buy the bolt. Unbelievable....

Re: looking to wire my corner lights as my blinker! HELP

I actually tried to figure this out and realized that they aren't negative trigger however you could still get this look by converting it to negative trigger. It's not to difficult. You'll need 4 relays (2 for each side). I drew kind of a sketch for it here:http://imageshack.com/a/img661/6821/414cIw...

Re: looking to wire my corner lights as my blinker! HELP

All you need to do is wire a relay to connect the turn signal to the corner light whenever you actually move the switch up or down. I don't know off hand, but I'm sure it's negative trigger. I'll do some digging with a meter today and draw you up a schematic. Should only need 1 relay per side unless...

Re: My recap and ongoing final stretch of building my Hatch

Finished up a majority of the wiring today. Everything is labeled and zip tied so there is no spaghetti mess of wires behind the dash. I love the gauges where they are. I just have to finish cleaning and painting the factory plastics and then the inside will be all but complete. http://imagizer.imag...

DIY: Bring back your Gas/Hatch release levers......

In this DIY, I'm going to cover how to restore your gas/hatch release lever. Nobody likes their levers looking like poop. Things you'll need: 1) Performix Plasti Dip (This IS NOT the spray plastidip you're probably used to seeing, It's made by the same company though. I got this can at Lowes right n...

Will this allow you to tune or will it still be wasted spark just without the ignitor and coil? As it stands, I'd be interested for sure

Re: My recap and ongoing final stretch of building my Hatch

So I think my only option for the door panels is going to be screwing them into the door skin. I bought a rivnut gun and some rivnuts and will update the progress on that when I get there. The big project I'm trying tonight is re coating the gas/hatch release levers in plastic. I previously tried pl...

Re: Oil Temp sensor mounting??

Thanks for the info, You've given me some things to think about. I am definitely going to just replace the stock pressure sensor with the aftermarket one. I like the idea of getting a relocation kit for the filter but the plug is definitely the easiest choice for oil temp. I read somewhere that you ...

I'll take a look tomorrow. Does that say 'ARK' on the side jondee? I have fiberglass wrap for the headers, will that be enough or is it a trial and error type thing?

Oil Temp sensor mounting??

I've done a little searching and am getting mixed feedback on where to mount this thing. I have a BT 20V and just ordered an Innovate Motorsports oil pressure/temp gauge that comes with the sensor. From what I'm reading, I should either get a sandwich plate for the filter or drill and tap the sump. ...

Re: My recap and ongoing final stretch of building my Hatch

Thanks Evo, I'll research it. I bought some new bigger door clips hoping they'd do the trick but I'm not sure it'll work. The magnet idea seems pretty good actually but I'm not sure how I'd mount them. They'd need to be very strong though.

Re: My recap and ongoing final stretch of building my Hatch

The mirrors do just pop out however they are pretty fragile. I suggest kind of bending a corner and just slowly working the plastic off of it around the mirror. This is the best video I've seen of how to twist the wires: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTJhrTTl-EE You are going to want to tie off on...

Re: My recap and ongoing final stretch of building my Hatch

Thanks Jdm. Nothing major today, I got my wideband Air/fuel gauge mounted in the dash. I think when I get the other two this set up will work out nicely. And passenger side complete. The door panel is done but I have to figure out a way to mount it to the door. The top slides over the window lip fairly easily but the bottom panel clips won't stay clipped in. I'm looking into options. I need to pick up some more screws and fabric for the driver panel ...

If that works, don't change it! I re sprayed my side mirrors a gloss black after fixing all of it and just walking by and rubbing one it messed it up. Could be different plastics, who knows but I was told to try clearing over it and that's whats worked for me. You're **** looks good man!

I guess I'm just testing all of them now jondee. The FSM is a huge help. You wouldn't happen to know how to test the pulse signal from the ignitor to ECU, the IGT signal?

So the coil checked out fine, I have no idea how to test the ignitor though. Can't find it in the FSM. Any ideas or experience? Does that voltage ban seem right? I don't think it looks like it's pulsing.. Also, I tested the O2 sensor and I'm pretty sure I tested the right terminals but I got an OL o...

Re: 20v BT running rich and hunts when idling....

So far just testing the ECU expected voltages out of the EFI section, I have 2 problems: VTA-E2 = was .230 Vdc when throttles shut and 1.150 Vdc when full throttle. Both are low out of spec Resistance for VTA-E2 was .346 k ohms shut and 1.204 k ohms full open. IGT-E1 = read .718-.721 Vdc. It says to...

Re: 20v BT running rich and hunts when idling....

How would I check using the O2 sensor after the resistance check? I don't have anything readily available but is there a tool or something I could go rent or buy? I'm going to do the tests on the idcv and the O2, any other sensors/terminals I should check? As long as it only requires a multimeter I ...
