Hello all, I've got an SP TEC water relocation kit for sale, has never been ran but has been test fitted. Will come with the main coolant rerouter, radiator hose extensions, coolant block off plate, new thermostat, and all the gaskets. Has a few nicks where it was bumped whilst installing the engine...

Re: Good 20V Header
That header looks beautiful but here's an update: I finally got a PaceSetter. They were on back order but it finally made it. As far as I can tell it is a replica of the TRD 4-2-1. Of course it came with the crappy black paint, but all the welds looked nice. It's off getting ceramic coated at the mo...

Awesome thanks, I mainly just need the ones below the cam cover. Mine has a few cracks and the bolt holes are busted out.

Re: 20v Bt wont start
Then it has to be a fuel/fire issue. You tried taking a wire off, putting an old plug in it and watching it fire as you crank it? Also check fuel pressure. If you have all of that your distributor could be off. Have you tried taking it out and resetting it?

Re: 20v Bt wont start
The thing is though, you could have the timing off, and some valves could have gotten bent. If you truly have consistent fuel and fire it has to be a compression issue.

Re: 20v Bt wont start
I'm not really familiar with Toyotas yet but from experience, when you're FOR SURE getting fuel and fire, check your compression. Its super scary, like going for a cancer check but if your compression is good its something easy.

Good 20V Header
Hello all, I'm looking for a good header to use on my 4AG 20V Black Top, its in an AE86 so I will obviously need a RWD header. What would y'all suggest? I'm looking for a good daily driving header, nothing too racey or whatnot. The motor is all stock with the exception of a set of Poncams. I've hear...

Measuring Blacktop Valve Shims
Hello all, quick question if you don't mind: I'm measuring the valve shims in my blacktop with Dial Indicator, but there is a slight difference of course between dead center of the shim (where there is a little hole) and the sides. I assume you would measure the sides, is that right? Any help would ...

American Importation law to 15 years!
Hello all, we tried petitioning the government a few years back to change the importation law in the United States to 15 years or older. Well its back again, they promise to review it if the signatures are high enough so please take the time to sign your name to this petition and tell a friend (or t...

Re: Black Top Oil Pump
Thanks for the replies! The only reason I don't switch back to 16V parts is because I was able to get the black top belt and idler through our dealership for really cheap, only to find out later that the pump and tensioner are hard to find over here. The real question I am dealing with is whether or...

Black Top Oil Pump
Hello all,
I am having the hardest time finding an oil pump for my 20V Black Top 4AGE. I have the part number 15100-19045 but it isnt showing up as a good number. Have they changed it? Anyone know where to get a good new one?
Thanks again!

Water Pump Line Up
Hello all,
As I'm putting my 20V black top back together, a thought came to mind, if I am using the old 4AG brackets and accessories (alternator, AC, PS, etc) will I have to use the old water pump or will the 20V one line up with those pulleys?

SP-TEC Water Relocation Kit
Hello all,
Recently purchased an SP-TEC water relocation kit for a black top 20v from an individual with no instructions whatsoever. Anyone have a picture of theirs installed? Or and pointers as to how to install it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Haha that is certainly an idea. Im a nut about sound deadening though so first I'm going to try and get some with factory sound insulation, if not, I'll try your plan
