Hey gang,
I recently read this write-up (http://forums.club4ag.com/zerothread?id=77707) on an aftermarket oil cooler kit.
Will an oil cooler kit for a 16v work with a blacktop 20v? Will the adapters fit for both engines?

Blacktop Power Steering Belt Tentionser
Hey guys, I have a blacktop with power steering in my ae86, but no a/c, and thus, no a/c compressor. Since the compressor is used as a belt tensioner with the power steering pump, do any of you have suggestions on how to keep tension on the power steering belt? I still have the compressor bracket on...

Headlight Problem
Hey everyone, I have a Trueno and the headlights will turn on and flip up when I turned the headlight switch two times to the right, but will turn off and close when I turn the switch once to the right, even though all of the parking lights come on. For some reason, the headlights cannot be off but ...

Re: Seat Belts
Sorry about that,
When I unbuckle myself, the belts won't retract and instead will be like a limp noodle. They'll retract over time, but when I'm driving they constantly sag.

2-way LSD Question
Hey everyone, Right now, I have a welded diff. As you can imagine, whenever I turn to full lock at low speeds (like in parking lots), my tires squeal and it is difficult to turn. I'm replacing my diff and was thinking about a 2-way lsd. If I do get a 2-way lsd, will I still have the same problems wi...

AE86 Blacktop A/C and Heat Question
Hey everybody, I'm new to having an 86 and have a question. I bought my car with a blacktop swap but it doesn't have the capacity to have heat and a/c in it's current state. It's missing the heater core and the compressor and all of that stuff. If I bought a carbed SR5 with a/c and heat, could I swa...

WTB: AE86 Speedometer Cable
Hey guys, my speedometer cable for my 1986 Toyota Corolla SR5 snapped and I need a new one. Anyone have any for sale or know a place where I can order one? Thanks. By the way, I'm located in NJ and would prefer to buy the cable in person if the seller is a private dealer.

FR-S Seats in AE86
Hey guys,
Has anyone put in the stock FR-S seats into an AE86? Just wondering how easy/hard it was and if there are brackets for this kind of setup. I don't have access to a welder/can't weld, but I really like these seats. Thanks

Bucket Seats and Rails for AE86
Hey everyone, I would like to put in some bucket seats into my 86, but since it is a small car, I don't know what seats will easily fit. I'm sure you guys know and I could really use your help. Basically, 1) Are there specific seat brackets I should get? 2) What seats would fit in easily without a l...

@yogi59fifty
So do you have the shifter that's in the link above? The tall shifter is a short shifter (although not short as the short shifter), just a few inches taller than the short shifter.

Re: T3 Tall Shift Kit
My main concern was just the height of the shifter. I am not a tall guy so my arms aren't that long. T3 says that both the Short and Tall Shift Kit reduces the stock throw length so I wasn't too concerned with the throws. Still, thanks for all of the good advice and info.

Re: T3 Tall Shift Kit
hey thanks for the input. The "tall shifter" will have a longer throw than the "short shifter." It says that (40% vs 55%). I was simply asking about the height of the actual shift lever itself because my shifter is kind of wobbly and was trying to make it tighter. However, I didn...

Re: T3 Tall Shift Kit
Thanks for the reply. I'm running a stock shifter now, so I thought that making it lower 1.5 inches may have been too low for me. Then again, I'm only 5'9" lol

T3 Tall Shift Kit
Hey guys, has anyone had any experience with the Tall Shift Kit for an AE86? The link is provided below. https://technotoytuning.com/toyota/ae86/tall-shift-kit-ae86-corolla I just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with it vs T3's short shifter. I am mainly concerned with the height of it. S...
