Also what Mallory pump do you have? and what size are your fuel lines. (I'm asking this because I'm running the same thing except different carbs)
Mallory 5250 I'm pretty sure. And I'm running the factory lines with 3/8 rubber lines.

Re: 4AG Problem
Are the carbs jetted properly? Do you have an adequate fuel supply? I had the same problem with my '77 Celica, it was the stock fuel pump. I couldn't get my jets right in my Celica until I upgraded the fuel supply. I ran a Mallory pro pump and used a Holley reg to keep the pressure in check. That w...

4AG Problem
Hey guys, I just recently converted a AE92 4AG into a TE72. I also converted it to twin 40 DCOE side drafts. I started it up and it runs but timing sounds a little bit off but it idles. If I go to rev the motor it won't rev past 2500-3000rpm. I was thinking about the timing advance and I was wonderi...

External Fuel Pump
If I'm running a fuel cell for my car what external fuel pump should I run? What is the PSI I should have. The motor is stock 4age with stock intake and injectors.

4age build questions
I currently have a early red top 4age (bigport, TVIS, 7rib block) and I'm looking into building it into a streetable/drift motor. This motor was out of a AE92 FWD and I'm converting it to RWD. The things I have for the motor to do the swap are the RWD trans, RWD intake, RWD water pump, motor mounts....

4age FWD-->RWD Questions
So I recently pulled a motor from a AE92 GTS and I'm wanting to convert it to a RWD motor. But I had a few questions on this. 1) would I be able to use a T-50 tranny from a 3-TC motor? Or would I need a bell housing off a 4-AC/4-AG? 2) would motor mounts from a 3-TC block work on the 4-AG? Or could ...

Re: Questions on this ae92 4age
Wow never knew the 4age had so much different internals! That's great to know thank you for that! What do you think I would spend on getting it up 150whp? And what would you recommend doing to the motor to get it to 150whp? I wanna take the best route to have a strong solid motor that has some power...

Re: Questions on this ae92 4age
Well I was looking to get around 160-180hp. I would consider going higher in horsepower but I wouldn't want the reliability of the motor to go down to much. I would like to try and keep the internals of the motor as stock as possible(well the bottom end for now) I don't mind cams and maybe some head...

F/S GTS Ae92 no motor
I have a 89 Ae92 GTS that I am willing to sell whole or part out. It doesnt have a motor but trans is still there(5 speed). I will be able to post pictures after I'm off of work. I'm located in Arizona. As for the price of the car, I'm not so sure what these are worth but I figured I would rather tr...

Re: Questions on this ae92 4age
Welcome... hmmmm, smallport and 3 rib would not be stock. If it is a 3 rib block and a smallport head it could have ANYTHING inside......
4AGE engines are a decent 4 cylinder to build....
Hmm interesting.. Do you think this would be a good base motor to start a street/drift motor?

Re: Questions on this ae92 4age
It's reasons like this that trying to use top colors is useless. Don't worry about that. As you described it by the head and the block is a much better way than top color. Now just figure out what internals you have? Are you sure it's a smallport? If so it won't have a TVIS mani. It doesn't have th...

Questions on this ae92 4age
So I bought a 89 toyota corolla ae92 just for the motor as I was looking to do a RWD swap in my 80 TE72 corolla. I'm pretty sure it is a smallport with a 3 rib block. I haven't gotten the chance to really look at te at due to work but I took a glance. What would this motor be considered? (Red top or...
