It's a big port with Dizzy, don't have the SC either, so it would appear to be an early engine.

What variant of 4agze do I have ?
Hey guys, I've had a 4agze for a while in my garage, I don't know which vehicle it's come from, is there a way I can tell ? Have looked at the specs here http://club4ag.com/faq_and_tech_pages/4A-GZE_specs.htm Seems only way to tell is by the Pistons and rods ? Is there any pics online to compare to ...

Who runs without timing belt covers ?
I'm currently running a clear cover which is cool, but I really dig the rawness of no covers or backplates. My car is purely a track & show car with the odd Sunday drive. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/07/17/9aa891c79261734c9e992a85809c6ba4.jpg http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/07/17/a21499b5...

Who runs without timing belt covers ?
Love the look of the engines when all the front covers are removed, I fully understand what could happen, a stone or something snapping the belt etc etc But how many run without covers, for how long, and who's had issues ? http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/07/15/5c20a672cfc35f30f31591a86d6e1a0f.jpg ...

If your breather system is still factory it won't work as the inlet manifold is now + pressure ! So this could be a contributing factor !

Ah ok, so at a guess the 365cc will or won't be up to the job ? I may have a set of injectors from a celica, a 2.0ltr, over here it's called a GT but looks like this http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06/21/eab5984082303472267ddfe399691564.jpg Possibly a 3sfe ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok thanks. Will be getting full stand alone management, but looking for a tuner currently, once I find one and have seen some of there work, I will get something they like using as its probably the best way to go about things.

Re: Turbo build help required.
Well been doing a bit of reading, and again looking for opinions. If I were to go high compression running this turbo, it would make a great road car, fast spool and nice and responsive.. If I'm honest the final figure is just pub talk, I'm not looking to be the fastest, loudest car. It's just for m...

Thanks, that's a lot of numbers to divulge, and learn what it all means lol Your knowledge as always is very welcomed, it's an on going build and won't be in the car until the winter months, so I'll keep my eyes out for other options. Yoshi my goal is 250/300 HP realistically that's going to be flywheel. Will need a fuel pump as currently just running a facet pump for the bike carbs http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06/06/d9447b745b0e98e165d0509e0baf30f2.jpg plan is to use the facet pump to supply a swirl tank and then install a ...

Re: 4AGZE RWD project spec sanity check
I'm doing a similar thing but going turbo. My car is a KP60 Starlet. In the UK things like a T50 gearbox and RWD inlet manifold are very hard to find so the word 'Budget' doesn't really apply. A RWD water pump is also impossible to find here so I just made an alloy pipe section to run from the back ...

Turbo build help required.
Ok been searching, using tapatalk but I'm unable to find some answers. 1. Are there any bigger injectors which will fit without modification suitable for my 4AGZE engine running a Holset HX25W Turbo and Poncams. 2. Is the standard FPR up to the job of an uprated fuel pump, something like a Warlbough...
Re: 4AGZTE
To run both a SC and TB is a lot of work, there's a thread here somewhere.
Basically it can be done, but not worth the hassle as modern ball bearing Turbos spool up so fast anyway.
I'm currently building a 4AGZE but dropping the SC for a TB.

Re: Tapping noise after rebuild on 4AGE small port
Where are you based ? Love Donnington :) Not many UK members on here though. Try putting a long screwdriver handle to your ear, and then pressing the end on the block, will get you close to the area the noise is coming from. Sounds like valves to me, pop off the cam covers and check all the steel sp...
