Re: Need some help with ST 20v - limp mode
UPDATE: I unplugged the o2 sensor and it runs fine. Maybe I have the wrong one? Anyone know what o2 sensor I need for this? What a compatible car would be (4Runner I think?) I feel like I may have the pinout wrong for the 02 sensor. Can anyone confirm this is correct? The way I have it now: o2 white...

Need some help with ST 20v - limp mode
My car is currently in limp mode. I have a 1990 Celica with a ST swap. There is no AC in the car. When I turn the ignition on, the fan is constantly running. When I unplug the fan, it comes out of limp mode and runs fine. I read somewhere that the ECU may think the AC is on, or that there is a probl...

Re: Igniter problem?
So that's why it was sparking, lol. Good to know! So the bracket it's bolted to needs to be bolted to a clean spot on the body then? I wonder why it's giving me so much trouble now. It's bolted to the same spot it was before and it started up and ran just fine. Me removing it must've done something ...

I'm having a problem and I'm hoping you guys can help. I have a 1990 Celica with a 4AGE ST swapped into it. The igniter and coil are on a bracket together and bolted to the body. I was replacing coolant temp sensors today and unbolted it from the body and set it aside. Once the sensors were replaced...

Re: OBX Plenum for Silvertop
Thanks for the input guys! I'll just repair the stock plenum then. Eventually I'd like to go standalone and eliminate the MAF altogether. Better to just invest in that I suppose.

OBX Plenum for Silvertop
Hey all, I'm new here. I have a 1990 Celica track car with a 4AGE Silvertop swapped into it. I got the car from a friend who raced the car for a long time with the 4AFE in it. He swapped in the ST, but was unable to finish it due to time constraints. Now I have it and I am wrapping it up. I plan to ...
