Well, the new valve tool is ready..... Breath taken sir. So question for you then, to simplify everything. What do you think about this option: Red top pistons MRP stainless steel valves - https://www.mrpltd.co.nz/product/4age-16v-stainless-steel-valves-0-5mm/ Stem seals MRP connecting rods - https://www.mrpltd.co.nz/product/4age-billet...

one quick note... When talking about cams you will see me put a number in quotes, followed by "type", as in "264" type . Not all cams are equal. because of this I tend to look at a cams duration numbers based on what duration they are at either .040"(1mm), or .050" lif...

I probably put more things for generic engine rebuild stuff on things that I decided to not go with. Do you have any recommendations? Here is my compiled list so far... Pistons: ⋅  4AG Red Top High Compression Pistons, 10.3:1 : $530NZD -> $342 USD ⋅  Brian Crower 12.0:1 Pistors ...

Sorry this is my first appearance... I typically avoid ITB threads... they aren't often needed(my 140+ whp smallport runs just fine on a single T/B), and if not done correctly can and often does cause operational issues do to poor set-up (mechanical, as well as from a management POV) I am absolutely...

what does "tumbling" the head consist of? Is it similar to tumbling bullet casings? Not sure (tumbling bullet casings...???) What "tumbling" means in this case is they have a large tool - it consists of a large cabinet, with a rotisserie that you strap the head too. The cabinet ...

Does anyone really need a 300mph 1000hp sportscar ? Youtube is loaded with videos demonstrating that such vehicles are not a good match with the driving skills of the people who can actually afford them. So I don't think that the drivers of lifted trucks are the only ones compensating for their sho...

Good to know that the DNJ quality is OK. When I got my set years ago, the quality seemed decent. If only someone at DNJ would change the oil return slot into oil return holes. Or does that not matter too much? That would be nice... but DNJ follow the OEM on that. It wasn't until the 20V pistons tha...

The DNJ pistons have worked out well for people's builds? This is the second engine I've built that utilizes those pistons. OST-032, Skippy... that engine was also built using the DNJ pistons, Skippy's engine is now being used in a FX16 built for rally use. https://instagram.fvno1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v...
