Re: WTB Big-Port High Comp Pistons
there might be a set out there.... I had a tough time finding a set 13 years ago........ You do have options. 1) get a custom made piston - Traum can make you a set for about $700 2) you could use Molnar Technologies "smaller" rod (40/20) - about $440 a set, and then use a set of smallport...

Re: Lit'lphant - Toyota's Hemi V8
Why would you need dual springs with this engine? Plan on running some high RPM? Just curious. When I want to kick the revs up on a 22R I like using "beehive" springs. Instead of running the higher spring rates associated with dual springs the beehive springs keep lower sring rates while ...

Right now we are working on a valve spring[s] upgrade. Something that will allow us to utilize the new rpm potential, and yet not destroy the camshaft do to excess spring pressures. there are actually 3 Fujitsubo LegalisR... one is a single tip big muffler, a 2nd is a dual tip big muffler, and the third is a dual tip small muffler (yes - a bit more noise). I've now had 2 of the 3 Fujitsubo exhausts. I've had both dual tip models. The small muffler version is a bit too loud for ...

That "rattle" depends on the alloy of the forged piston. Typically... 2618, they have been known to make some from 4932, but they don't recommend it for boosted applications. I'd like to see hypereutectic castings for street apps. Hyper pistons are lighter than reular cast and forged pist...

speaking to seat time..... I've been on track twice.... 3 times if you consider carts.
I get motion sick
I can build them, just can't take the g loads.....
best of luck in 2 things: 1) your seat time, and 2) keeping to your budget.
