Either way I thinks it's a pretty cool mash up

Zenki JDM lip on an all-kouki USDM SR5 with a 4A-GE swap.

SR5's never had the arch trim.

No, it won't.

Use a W58 (which came on the 2JZ-GE).

Best bet would be to contact a company already making 4AG flywheels and ask about the possibility of getting it blank/drilled with 6-bolt. I'm sure someone out there can/would do it for you.

Could help.

You should see if you can find out exactly which relay it is as well, make sure it's the COR for example.

Removing the glove box will probably help.

Re: Relay Clicking Under Dash When Decelerating!

Do you have some sort of custom intake and your AFM is not mounted at the original almost flat angle? Often times in cases like this gravity is pulling the flap closed and causing the circuit opening relay to disengage power to the fuel pump, as it thinks the engine has died (no airflow) in an effor...

I'd say you don't have a smallport rail then, haha. There are a few types of 16V 4A-G rails, but there is only 2 types of injector spacings, large and small.

Re: Removing the AC compressor...what belt?

The Toyota belt is 90916-02158 for the 4A-GZE without A/C, also known as 5PK845 (5-ribs, 845mm long).

Dayco's part numbers are in inches, so a 5050335 is a 5-rib, 33.5-inch belt (essentially the same thing).

Glad you found a belt that worked!

Re: Alternator Plug replacement: Unobtanium?

I know this is an old thread, but for future reference the Toyota part number for the connector is 90980-10341 and it should still be available.

It might not be in the Toyota USA system (I'm not 100% sure, it's coming up a bit weird), but there is stock in Canada.

I know for the AW11 and AE92 4A-GZE they have the same connector as the AE86 4A-GE. I do not believe the AE101 is the same (square connector instead of round).

So it's been a tad busy at the shop lately, so my car's been getting worked on a bit slowly, but it's almost ready to leave the body shop so I can start reassembly. The hood has been reclearcoated, the trunk was repainted and they've installed a bit of the glass and got the blackout tape on the door...

Yeah it's an SR5 vs. GT-S thing. The GT-S had the larger lower bumper with lip so I think they had that section of the tow hook further back to avoid damaging the bumper when tying it down for shipping.

The 2ZZ-GE clutch will also fit, and is a heavier pressure plate from the factory for the higher power output of those engines.
