Re: CBY Fender Flares
Exactly. If you are willing to spend $200 on cheaper replicas, why not spend a little more ($400) on the real ones. I know I would replace my CBY flares with real ones if they got damaged.
Re: Skylines
Would I TAKE one? Of course. Would I BUY one? No. I would not want to drive a RHD car, even if its for weekends only, and if I were spending the money, it would go to something else.

That was a Celica (83). I recalled seeing that when I saw the movie. This was also my very first car

As far as trueno goes, hatch and coupe look great. I cant pick one over the other. But with a Levin, I only like those in coupe form.

I think with those sizes, you would need custom metal work to extend your flares.

Re: How not to ship car parts
The more packing material the better. I have shipped out a ton of stuff over the years, not to mention the parts I used to sell when I owned hidplanet, and its not worth the risk of damaging goods, then having to deal with the fallout. Overpack and you wont have issues. Ship without packing material...

Im pretty sure it will sound pretty good on a 4ag, but if it made a CRZ that loud, im scared to think how loud it will be on an ae86. I would love to rock it, but I think it would cause a lot of unwanted attention around me.

Re: Music?
Nothing when driving the corolla. Just the trumpets on the ITBs. It has a stereo, but it really cant be heard over the engine and exhaust. Its not my daily so I enjoy the sounds coming from the car when its driven.

Re: Possible engine swaps cheap and good.?
Couldnt agree more with the above statement. No way a a reasonably stock 3tc will beat an e46 M3. All up to the drivers though. Throw captain hook behind the wheel of a e60 v10 M5 and you got a chance. Or it could be that the M3 was a clone and was actually a 320. Depends on whether you know the own...

Glad the UNI filters got there in time for your move. I was a little worried that they were being sent to a very rural area, they wouldnt get there in time. When time permits, you should wash them and re-oil them to have them looking bright and new.

I loved it since the pics came out. If it goes into production and is within reach financially, I just might have to get this one.

I prefer them as to me, they look more sleek, and the darker tint in the plastic suits the look of the car very well. Compliments the car. It really does all depend on your budget. I try to recommend Auto Explosion to everyone I know that is seeking a good paint and body shop. They are in Gardena and well known for their quality work on tons of show cars out there as well as many regular cars whos owners want superior paint. I have had...

ITBs. Absolutely in love with how ITBs sound. So much so, that a louder exhaust is not something I want as it will take away from the ITB snarl. Just happy with an hks hi-power, de-cat and Silk Road header. What kind of ITBs are you running? Also, how different is the exhaust noise with your modifi...
