Re: T3 Tall Shift Kit
I'm 5'10" and I had to lean forward to reach 5th gear; real bummer. So I got a bootleg eBay short shifter, it had a two piece lever that kept coming unscrewed while driving; super bummer but the shift action was fabulous. Now I have a TRD shifter with a T3 bottom bushing and it's super hella ti...

Sorry guys, I won't be parting it out. The guy said there's no way to fit an LS in the 86 without hacking it up, surprise surprise lol.

Hey thanks man. As for body work, I could do most of it for you: I would pull the car to a body shop and tell them what to fix, you just pay for it lol. I learned pretty quick i'm not cut out for body work.

Re: remove throw out bearing
I used a bench vise to support the bearing with the hub hanging down. Put a socket on the hub that would fit inside the bearing and gave it a whack. Mind your toes, but it works like a charm.

The guy really liked the setup as it is, and he said an LS swap would be too hard and sacrilegious lol. He said he'd make me an offer later this week. I'll let you guys know.

It's crappy coated, starting to flake off. I would say $500 shipped for all of it since it's so big n heavy. I'll let you know tonight what the guy wants. I should have some pictures somewhere....

A fella is coming to look at my car today, but he wants it without engine and trans so he can put an LS in it. :/ Anyway, I'm just putting it out there if there is any interest for my engine, trans, carb set up. Engine and carbs have less than 50 miles since rebuild. Engine: 7AFE block, rods, crank,...

Re: 20v Oil pan replacement
4A-FE pan should be the ticket, but I would ask Dan, as he knows more about those than I do. The 7A pan is provisioned to bolt to a C-series tansmission. This pattern does not line up with the T50, so if you're doing this in an FR you'll either need to hack it down to use the original engine to tra...

I don't have back seats or any other interior but front seats, dash, and door cards. In 99+ Miatas you can turn off the passenger side air bag, so it's safer for kids in the front. I think they even have latch hooks for carseats lol.

10 Land Cruiser wheel studs
I have a box of 10 brand new Dorman wheel studs for a Land Cruiser. I was going to pop em on the front for some slip on spacers, but I have a change of plans. I put em on eBay:

Re: Noob question on fuel delivery for a carb'd 4age
No. Your 4AC has a mechanical fuel pump in the head. Swapping in a blue top head eliminates this pump, which means you must run an electric pump.

Drove it today. It takes a minute to warm up and get happy, but hey it's got character! So I drove around for a while and noticed it would smoke a little from under the car whenever I stopped. I figured it was from dust and bugs on the exhaust, no big deal. Well I stopped by my old work (Valvoline) ...

Ah you misunderstand what I said. When given the choice to drive to either Florida or California, I would chose Florida every time because I don't want the hassle. I know my out of state plates should give me a pass, but that's no guarantee against over zealous cops.
