No it's standard ECU.

the injectors are now firing as there was a loose pin on the ecu plug.

so i've got spark and fuel, but it won't fully turn on. It just cranks and cranks.

timing was checked and was all fine. no idea now

Jon, that's what I was thinking! I'm going to stick with the standard camshafts for the time being. I'm going to be running a bigger pulley so I do not want to complete things by throwing in some cams that the ECU may have issues running.

I have no idea to be honest. Probably around 14-15.

Yes I am using the standard ECU

I believe my engine is coming with an uprated pulley, 176/180mm and I will be designing/installation air feed for the IC heatsoak issues i'll probably face. That's about it really.
