Is that header wrap on EVADE's setup? IIRC header wrap is designed to trap heat in, not necessarily keep heat out.

Re: high beam low beam switch
No when the switch is in the high beam position nothing happens. What is supposed to happening when high beams are on on the switch. The little ball bearing thing fell out when I took the plastic piece covering the brass tabs off. What does that even do? The ball bearing keeps the lever clicked int...

Re: Zenki AE86 Trueno Emblem Measurements??
How durable are 3D printed parts? I thought about modeling and printing those UV-rot prone armrest cups on zenki door panels, but a couple of people have told me that they wouldn't be as tough as fiberglass. 3D printing is as strong as the material you use to create it.... They have 3d printers tha...

Re: Zenki AE86 Trueno Emblem Measurements??
Would definitely consider that! But all we have is the machine that lays out the layers of plastic, getting the data from a computer with the 3d model. I may have a source for 3d scanning, but I probably won't get a chance to try it out until sometime next year... So right now, the easier method wo...

Re: convert auto fx to manual
Thanks for responding. I guess what I most need to know is if the bodies of the auto and manual are the same i.e all the mounting points in the cabin and engine bay are there for either transmission option, or if they're different creatures. Not too sure about FX, but AE86 uses a different cross me...

Re: A bit of a delema....
Try replacing the harness before making any moves towards another engine.
Then again, if there is rust in the engine bay, and you plan on painting everything, you will end up pulling the engine anyways.

Re: convert auto fx to manual
FX is front wheel drive...
I'm guessing:
Tranny/ mounts
Clutch/ flywheel/ bolts
shifter/ linkage
axles (Possibly)
Clutch master cylinder/ slave cylinder/ hard lines/ soft line. (If the FX is cable clutch disregard)
Clutch pedal assembly

Re: Noob question hour! AE86 brakes?
Yup bleed brakes. Did you get a Haynes manual/ dl the FSM?
Could be master cylinder.
Could be your rubber break lines at the calipers. These get old with time and become some-what spongy. People like to replace them with stainless braided lines.
