Re: the never ending story...

for now im going to set it up and keep it powered by the cig lighter. if it works well, I think I want to wire in another 12v outlet, and keep it hidden in the glovebox where the controls will be. I have been looking, not very hard, for the oem idle-up to see if I can get something to work with that.

Re: the never ending story...

I have this little side project going as well. im tired of fogged up windows, and having a heater core with a 20v swap sucks. saw n article years ago about someone modding a standard home space heater to fit in place of the core. now that Im tired of either...

Re: RHD turn signal switch on LHD corolla

its not the switch that's the problem, im assuming you mean USDM to JDM signals. IF that's the case, its the wiring that needs to be done, the switch wont do anything for you. google the conversion, theres plenty of write-ups around

consider a sheet metal hole punch, and make new holes to line up with the bumper nuts/holes. hand held tool is only around $20 and comes in handy

Re: Persistent COR and gauge problems, 20V swap

for the oil pressure problem-are you using the old sensor from the 16v OR the 20v sensor? the 20v sensor will not work with the cluster, its a "dummy light' not a gauge. the tach problem-the stock tack will work fine using the 20v igniter, when wired up properly. you need the 20v coil and ignit...

Meguirs plastic polish. in the 2nd pic you can se the bottle. I masked off everything but the lenses as you see, then used some 800 grit paper to smooth it out, then a finer grit, followed by the plastic polish and a clean rag...aka a tshirt I cut up for just this stuff.

I never had the oem mounts, but the bar is solid. thinking about adding extra mounts since it only utilizes 2 top holes, not all 8. I have some plans for the future with it. the best part was the fitment, do messing around tweaking things. bolt up and go.
