Re: Which lightweight flywheel to get?
That is a great deal, but I'm not looking for a three puck disc. A full face carbon Kevlar with a light flywheel would suit me nice.

Which lightweight flywheel to get?
Was wondering if anyone can highly recommend a clutch kit that includes a lightweight moly flywheel around 10lbs. Nothing too light, but would like something lighter than stock to rev quicker but not drop off too quick. Looked at Toda but theyre too pricey. Dont know anything about the ones on eBay....

Ditto on the Silk Road, but I believe it requires a manual rack to fit.

Re: Silvertop ITB's, T3 stacks, RamAir air filters
I do have a question about the filter that is pictured on top. It appears to have chunks missing from the corner and top portion. Is this the case? Or is it a picture illusion?

Re: Silvertop ITB's, T3 stacks, RamAir air filters
Any wiggle room on the Ramair filter price? I would like to buy from a fellow member, but can get them from the UK new for £29.99 or roughly $47 plus shipping. Id be willing to pay the going rate on the filters, and what shipping would cost internationally and a convenience fee for your time and eff...

I really have to consider my options here in the next year or so. Probably best to get a carb legal engine swap done. Thought about an s2k or usdm 2jzgte with all emission hardware. Hate the thought of removing the 4age in there now...

Re: STAR smog laws in CA?
You have to assume that all older cars that aren't deemed classics or are exempt will eventually get singled out and get sent to STAR. Its their way of getting these cars off the roads. Its not looking good. Anyone in Florida know of job positions for a Systems Engineer currently working for NASA/JP...

Re: Nothing is ever truely lost (C4AG Archive)
Thats too bad on both ends. The host should have maintained copies to archive off site, or at least off the local server, and the main user could have kept local copies to FTP off the server to archive on a external disk or wherever. Thats what I did, the archives were large since it was an entire s...

yeah it is odd that the host service did not perform routine weekly or monthly incremental backups. When I owned hidplanet.com I performed them monthly on top of the hosting sites backup.

Re: STAR smog laws in CA?
Did you get selected to go to a star smog facility? In a nutshell, a STAR Smog shop is one that is specifically selected by the state which the BAR closely monitors standards and practices. Meaning, they do things by the book and dont let things slide. Meaning, not good for the tuning community. Who...

If they are not cooperating, it could be tough. But if there is a way to use wget on their server, it could automate grabbing files.

Looks like there was a wayback archive created on December 7th, 2012. Links work and content preserved:

Great tool for reference and content scraping. Just thought I would pass it on.
