Just touch it!
Do its hoses feel warm or do they not feel warm?
Warm = flow OK.
Cold = NFG

What's the compression? All cyls. affected equally when the ignition and/or fuel to them is disabled? Ground wires under the intake manifold???????? What does 'sinks' mean? What does the pedal feel like, bit of easy, one finger for the first 1-2cm, then rapid increasing resistance, about 8-10kg, down to the floor? Air is air, squishy, little to no effort to push down on & rapid pumping compresses it and will change the pedal's feel completel...

The fuel line from the filter banjo bolts to the rail with or near a little round accumulator/pulse damper thingy that is threaded into the rail IIRC. It should not control fuel. Re: Misfire when revving, but not at idle

What's the compression?
Same equal effect on all 4 when removing a plug wire or EFI?
Pinch off the FPR's return hose to see if more fuel pres. will make a significant difference.
Move the distrib. back & forth to see its effect, ignore the pully timing marks.

Are the shims finished on both sides? I so, then use the unused side for the new lobes. NFG SORRY... They all NEED lube but since the 4ag has a direct source for it drilled into the lobe, it should get all the lube it needs at any RPM, unlike a non-OHC engine that only gets lubed by the stuff flung ...

WOW! The first reply to the OP should have been " puking oil out the exhaust" is not true and you have never seen it. It is simply condensation - a combustion product, that's all. Pistons & valves are supposed to have carbon buildup, unless it's almost new, has detonation/pinging/spark...

Re: Gauging interest in a sequential spark COP control modul

I believe most aftermarket ECUs could use the flywheel since you should be able to tell it how many teeth you are using. The only downside is you would need another sensor on a trigger wheel that gave the ECU a TDC/rotation reference. For example a traditional trigger wheel like a 36/1 has 35 teeth ...

It's gotta be tight! it's possible the wobble isn't from being loose but that the thing's bonding coming apart, it should still rotate true with or without being tightened down. There just MAY BE enough depth in there to use the untouched threads at the bottom of the hole with a longer bolt or stud...
