I don't think so. I feel like OP would have said they were magnesium if they were, and they would be even more expensive. You rarely see those for sale used since they're mainly used for race applications.

I just ask because I have Rota Slipstreams which I think are pretty damn sexy (for the DC2) and clock in around 12lbs per wheel. I highly doubt they are less than that. Dude Slipstreams look sexy on any Honda Lol. My personal favorite being black slipstreams on a red EG Hatch. Then there's the Muge...

Lol Watanabes Always been this much $$$$ they never went down nor up. Specially 15x9's or 15x10's thats like prime sizes for ae86. Every time you buy wats there is a long wait cause they are made to order + taxes + fees+ shipping so yes this is a good deal for these sizes. Gotta pay to play 1600 sh...

Re: AE86 Best Suspension Setup

IT3 is decent too. They fall somewhere in between custom and off the shelf in my mind. Its because they use off the shelf shocks, usually from other makes/models; although, theyre known to work on an ae86. If t3 could do their own bespoke ae86 model specific damping somehow it would be a huge plus....

No major update. Although I did get all my parts to do my little overhaul this winter. I was able to get the waterpump, gaskets, and spark plugs from Toyota, and I got the OEM Timing Belt via BattleGarage. I will get the drive belts when I do the work. It shouldn't be a problem to take them to Car Q...

Godamn emo hipsters. LOL yeahh ... I was all about it. Long hair, Hot Topic, skinny jeans, keys on the belt-loop (still can't break that habit), etc. I still enjoy the music and playing it with friends, but I gave up on trying to "make it" in a Hardcore band. Pretty much impossible if you...

My RHD conversion was a front clip. But I went over board I wanted a full internior so I get JDM black seats, sun visors, power windows, etc. It looks authentic. Interesting! Just out of curiosity, how did you go about getting a RHD front clip like that? Did you specifically contact someone to sour...

Things might be slow and small, especially around my neck of the woods, but its still alive and well! This was a few weeks ago at a local car meet. UGH. Can anyone give me a shot of the orientation of the washers on the bottom (axle mount) for the rear shocks? The PO switched them on either side, and I have no idea what is correct. The 14x54 blurry image in FSM does nothing. Should the two washers "cup" the bushing/shock assembly lik...

Re: CloudStrife's AE88

Yeah they should be bolted onto the conical cup(s), and you have to get it from underneath the vehicle. Like, take a deep-well socket and go at it from the bottom. You should see the bolt(s) inside the bumpstop. Another side note: In the old FA review, where the dude was complaining about the perche...

Three bumpstops? There should only be two, one inside each spring, that are held in there by a bolt so you can just remove them completely.

Re: CloudStrife's AE88

Yepp! Just like that. Only thing is the FA adjustables are completely solid, like a cup, so you won't be able to use the bump stops. Idk what brand is pictured, but it looks like the center is hollowed out so the bump stops will fit. As far as the rubber, you will be able to use the bottom rubber(s)...

Re: CloudStrife's AE88

Interesting ... Another thing to note, on the front Volks I had 175/65 tires so the sidewall profile was massive. My new wheels I have 195/60 and even then they're still thick and give the car some height. So depending on what size tires you have that could definitely affect how high/low it is, espe...

As far as the ride height goes (it's been awhile for me messing with coilovers), it seems if you drop the front and not the rears (or vice-versa), it won't sit right. So I'll be doing the rear springs with adj. FA perches and TRD struts. Then move to Cusco rear sway, panhard and "multi-link&qu...
