Re: Full Stroke HTS AE86
I'm running HTS112 and they will NOT hold TRD linear rate springs from coming loose, you need the HTS102 to hold the TRD linear springs . I'm using the HTS112 in my car and they need some special fitting to keep my almost full height springs from coming loose http://www.hachiroku.net/forums/showpos...

*IF* they are costly through JE... (they likely will be), just contact Crower... I know, it seems counter productive, but if JE is too costly, let Crower supply them.........

Re: Urgent Valve spring mounting question 4AGE
ideally you want the little keepers evenly spaced/separated on the stem. This will allow even expansion when they are hot, they will also better support the spring retainer if they are spaced equally. note the incorrect install in the middle panel, spring on the right http://i79.photobucket.com/albu...

Hello, Today i've mounted almost all of the valve springs. When i looked in the Toyota manual there stated that you have to put the mark face upward. We were looking but couldn't find marks on non of the springs. Today, yes ofcourse with the last 4 valves i've mounted i spotted a difference. On one...

105whp is pretty good... the stock cams run flat @ about 6600, so your assumption is likely... you are probably close to 108 or 109 @6600. 4AGEs are not typically going to win dyno competitions..... What I would like to see... is how much time the TT's 1000 hp would help on an autocross course.......

Just one question though. The stock oil pump will be enough for a stock (or light modded) blacktop, wouldn't it?
stock oil pump is good to about 9k rpm. Some have used them higher, but they also tend to fail more often above 9k rpm

304/288 combo (in 16V) should twist well over 9000 rpm..... noting your comment about the surprise torque, I'd check cam timing....
