Try to work with 4ac and do something different. I'd like to see a 4ac with 4ag horsepower, but that's just me.

This actually makes sense from a legal standpoint, emissions are getting very strict and nowadays even bare stock ae86's and other eighties cars are struggling to make it through requirements. Soon there is going to be even stricter smog requirements, free us from the impossible please!

I hate CA smog, all the nature lovers( talking about the extremists here) despise any kind of leverage on old cars, at least get rid of the smog equipment requirements a 20v runs cleaner than a 16v for crying out loud! Use some common sense stupid politicians! Why restrict us from doing what we want...

It's lightweight, unassuming, and RWD. And it's also piss-cheap to insure. ae86's are also one of the few cars that only car guys and girls notice like the GTR. On top of that, it has street cred and rarity for being one of the original drift machines (but drift TAX stinks!)

I'm still worried about smog, in 2 years, I'll need to smog, but how do you pass the visual smog inspection in CA with a 20v? Do you know any under-the-table people?

I'll admit it, I got into AE86's because of Initial D but I'm not stupid enough to go try and drift it thinking I'm Takumi (I've been through that phase when I was 12), that's what Nissan s13's are for XD

It's a jdm engine. I didn't know the 20v came in the mr2 in the US.
