Re: '85 GTS build

Man this is getting expensive! not that I've spent a whole lot but almost all of it has been to get the c...

But I noticed my coil is pretty ratty looking, its one of those chromed accel ones i think. I probably will leave it be for now, but does anyone have a good ...

Re: Installing distributor advice?
ya so i'm guessing I just gotta re time it, I have no idea where it "should" go. Never had to set timing on a car before, guess its about time I learn! Just one of those things that I've never had to do up until now. anything specific to the 4age that I should look out for so as not to dam...

So i'm a dummy and forgot to take note of where the rotor was pointing before i removed the dizzy. I marked the body of it to the head, but I didnt even take off the cap when i removed the dist. :x Is my only choice now to completely reset the timing? Just wanted to replace my O-ring and got my self...

Re: '85 GTS build
progress is still pretty slow, I have just really been trying to get it back to normal and not so drift beater looking. Most of my work has been done under the hood, re did the intake with my own bits, installed a iacv block off plate to fix the idle. i also pulled out the radiator and gave the cool...

Re: WTB: set of lowering springs in SOCAL
I did decide to go with Tanabe since I wanted something mild, they were the least drop and softest that were readily available. But they were available for about 180 shipped from Amazon anyway... http://www.amazon.com/Tanabe-TGF044-Lowering-1985-1987-Corolla/dp/B004QO8DWS/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&...

Re: Guidelines for Selling an AE86.
I'm no professional on the matter, but I think you should find a middle ground. Of course you want to get as much for it as you can, but you have to feel out your market. You should charge as much as you can justify, while being realistic. Its really the same for selling any used goods. And do you N...

Re: AE86 cupholder 3D print?
haha ya i figured it would be kinda good since they tend to break alot, to 3d print it would probably be less than a buck in materials. Unless of course unless you get a titanium one made by spaceX, that might be more. anyone have an extra one they wanna sell me on the cheap or free :) , I'll just p...

AE86 CARPET CHIOCE
I have decided to go with a new carpet from stockinteriors.com. there's a listing for a 2 door 84-87 (#3974) and liftback 84-87 (#8121). I'm not sure if those just mean coupe and hatch, or could the liftback be for some other corolla that wasnt available in US market? just hate to order the wrong pa...
