i would also check your fuel pressure just to double check that your gettting the correct fuel pressure. i think its 38-44psi. dont quote me. Also, i would check your MAF cause those usually go bad. Do a resistance test on it.

are you getting any wear grooves in your rotors? that could be a normal sound since you are getting the sound with out the caliper on. semi-metalic pads are noisy by nature. I would pull the cam gear cover off. Its like 4 bolts. If you see oil be hide the cam gear shield. There's a good chance your cam seals are bad, its common on a 4age.
