hey guys i just wanna know if a 2zz will fit in my ae92 and what kinda complications would there be if i did the swap or would it be a perfect fit? and would i be able to pass smog?

I've seen the 2ZZ in mk1 MR2s, so the AE92 should be possible. The exhaust exits the opposite side of the engine so you'll need some heat shields on the firewall. The trans on the 2ZZ is the C series, so it might bolt to the stock crossmember. Axles may give you a bit of a headache. I think the S/C hubs are necessary for the install as well as the axles from the donor car. I read a good writeup on the process somewhere, but not sure where, maybe mr2oc. Good luck!
