hey guys, first off I'm sorry to see club4ag lost everything, and was wondering what happened? (I have browsed the forums before but never needed to register)
but back to my main thing, i was wondering what people thought and what they could tell me about swaping a is300 3s-ge& 6mt trans into a te72, idea on price of motor, what work would need to be done etc, I wanted to do a sr20det AE86 (and still might do) but it was to hard to find a ae86 in good shape for a good price (expect the $300 non-running gts that was sold in a day)

Doesnt the is300 have the 1jz? In other countries they had something like the is300 with the 3sge. The average engine and trans price I have seen is around 2k, then obviously there will be more, but its a starting point.

3tcgarage is a good resource for teXX chassis and what people have swapped in.

I believe you are talking about the BEAMS from an Altezza. I've seen them sell for around 1500-2000. Look into TE 4ag swap and 86 beams swap build threads.
Combine the info from both and you will know what to expect.

I know there is a thread on one of the EU sites where I have been able to do a lot of research on.
there is also another where it shows a step by step on mounting the beams in a TE (pretty sure it was subframe layouts too)
