1mzfe or 3vzfe into ae100 corolla wagon

i am a very avid ae86 and ae100 enthusiest. ive owned 5 ae86's and 5 ae100's. im tired of swapping 4a's...... the wiring is becoming a sleepy event, and just plain tired of bolt in ordinary.
i like to think i have a decent mechanical knowledge, from twincharged 4agzte ae100's to wire x wire swap threads for the ae86, to bike carb converted 4ag's and ae100 time attack car.
anyway, enough rambling.
so i picked up a daily for my wife, a 93' toyota corolla wagon. wagons are kinda rare here in th US, it was cheap, so i went for it. the car is creeping up on 300k miles on the ticker, and the 7afe has started to develop a rod tap. not quite a knock yet, but its been a decent high rpm tap going on 6k miles now. now i can go through the whole rigor mortis of contemplating a 7ag, doing a jdm touring wagon conversion with a blacktop swap, yada, yada, yada. yeah, revert back to the above paragraph.....im bored of the 4a, period.
at one point in time i even thought about 3sgte swapping it, i mean the ae100 engine bay, and st185 engine bay, could pass for twins, as far as mounting areas, and space available. well, i have seen 3sgte swapped camry's, and ive also seen 3sgte swapped ae100's and hell the 3sgte comes in the st185......so i thought about it, thinking if this particular engine can interchange between 3 chassis, oh and then i found the aw11 and sw20, so 5, and one of those cars came v6 oem, yeah..........then i started researching v6 camry engines.....then started googling......seems common in the sw20's, st202's, aw11's, but the ae100........nothing.
if i think about it........
blacktop is 160hp n/a bolt in -$3000 swap
silvertop - meh, blacktop is the better option especially with the c160
4agze ae92/ae101 160hp and big block type torque -$3000 swap, and good luck with finding axles for the e58 stateside.
3sgte is 200hp e153, custom axles -$4000
1mzfe 190 hp, matched torque, -$2000
hmmm, and its lighter than the 3sgte.
then theres the easier 3vzfe, around the same price, 67 lbs. heavier than the 1mzfe
so, seeming as the aw11 engine bay is pretty much a sufficient duplicate of the ae100, ae92, etc. it seems like this would be a great place to start stacking info. with the 1mz in a 2200 lbs. car, even with an automatic, it should move the vehicle fairly well, all while retaining stock reliability. ive searched for a while and have yet to find a 1mzfe swapped ae100, ie found aw11's sw20, celicas, etc. and from what im finding, everyone that ask about this swap for either the ae111 or the ae100, are being told, "good luck with getting it to fit" without any further explanation or arguing facts. like stated above if it will fit in an st185 celica, and the previous mentioned interchangable engine/swap around other chassis, im up to the challenge, and ask the question...."why not"
ive seen the northstar swapped aw11, i know he had to cut some stuff, but it did eventually fit. thats a wide engine,
im down for the cause, and looking to score.
