Hello,
I have already have purchased all the parts to upgrade my open diff to LSD. I was hoping to have Weir Performance do the swap since I purchased their 4.77 ring and pinion, but they seem to not have any available slots and for some reason are not even able to tell me when the next available time slot is. I find this odd but its their business practice so I will look else where to spend my money.
I’m hoping others can recommend a trust worthy shop to do this type of work. I’m worried a lot of people “say” they can do it, but don’t actually have the correct tools and don’t do this type of work on a regular bases where its second nature.
Please reply with sites, names, numbers, or any contact information!
List of parts purchased:
· Cusco 2-way RS (Zenki – LSD 130 L2)
· Weir 4.77 Ring and Pinion
· Weir Solid Pinion and Spacer kit
· 2 Pinion Bearings
· 2 Carrier Bearings
Carrier house has been removed from car, but open diff has not been touched or removed. Will ship the carrier housing as a whole and all parts listed above for the swap.
Recommend shop to do swap Open to LSD (willing to ship)

^I agree that's who did mine. Going on 5 years now.
It's too bad they can't give you a realistic (or any) time frame to do it.

I used South San Francisco Differential Repair for mine. Had me done in a day & charge very little ( can't remember how much ).
Definitely recommended.
Will be using them again pretty soon.

contact bluemoon performance - mr shingo is a Toyota master tech from Japan and builds a lot of race engines. he's done a lot of work for the guys here in SoCal including Ken Gushi (formula drift). He worked on my big port head with Tomei poncams and they're currently (speaking of diffs) doing my diff installing a Kaaz 2-way. they're here in Costa Mesa, ca.
