Found an 89 Corolla GT-S at the wrecker the other day and it has the 4AGE TVIS engine in it.
My corolla is a 1990 GT-S non TVIS 4AGE .
What I would like to know is if I can use the distributor from the TVIS engine in the non TVIS engine?

99% not suitable mate...do you have your old distributor ?whats the problem?

Dang, It was in great shape and didn't leak oil into it like my current one does.
I know they can be rebuilt, but mine has been leaking for sooooo long that everything inside is messed up really bad.

i had a problem with distr shaft....i rebuild the shaft and now it is not leaking at all
