A few months ago me and a friend bought a messed up gtsr5. It ran when we picked it up but the previous owner was absolutely horrible to the car. After he wrecked it, he went through it and took a lot of things off the car. To make a long story short, we replaced the rad core support and all the parts he either broke or took off the car. The fuel pump was not running, we noticed that it have the infamous power wire running to the panel by the drivers feet, so we just put a switch to wire it live. We went to start it up and it fires and turns over but then it wont continue to run. We changed all the plugs, changed the gas, timed it, and still the same problem.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Or can you point me in the right direction? Any help is greatly appreciated.

TLDR 16v swap fires for one second but then dies, any ideas?

Check all your grounds, since its a GTSR-5 swap, the whole harness was transferred over at one point.

Check that you have 12V at the injectors when the ignition switch is ON.
