ae101 4agze in ae92 where is O2?
ae101 4agze in ae92 where is O2?
4agze ae92 Levin 1988 I have a flash code for O2 sensor. No sensor is installed in aftermarket exhaust. Supposed to have 4 wire plug cant find it! Only one I found is a round single black wire gray plug on left side. Will post pic later of plug.
Re: ae101 4agze in ae92 where is O2?
I'm nearly certain only the AE101 4AGZE has a 4 wire O2 and both AE92 versions have a single wire O2.
Re: ae101 4agze in ae92 where is O2?
I have the ae92 harness, computer, and sensors with ae101 engine. I looked up diagram for 88 mr2 GZE and it says 4 wire located by supercharger area. I found this plug by the batter...

All 4A-GZE's are 4-wire, AW11, AE92 and AE101.
It's a square connector, but I don't know where it would be off the top of my head, since my GZE is installed in an AE86.

Ok thanks for the reply. If someone could upload a pic of the plug and wires coming out it would be helpful Im going to try and trace the OX wire from the diag port and see where It ends up. Im working off an MR2 diagram is it the same as ae92 for wire colors and routing?
Re: ae101 4agze in ae92 where is O2?
For anyone wondering how this turned out, I removed all the tape and wire loom and took apart my diag port to follow my "OX" black wire to my oxygen sensor. On my harness the black wire behind the OX terminal ends up going into a thick gray wire into the loom and back to a black wire. This wire looks like it has been replaced at some time so it may be different for you. The black wire ends up into a single terminal round plug located by the thermostat on the left side of the engine. Not sure if it should have a single wire Oxygen sensor, but it does now!

The AE92 looms I've seen before all had single wire O2 sensors.
