Hi All,
Please excuse me in advance, not sure if the right forum section was selected to post this question.
So my 4age 16v (from ae92) installed into my AE85, recently started to produce some weird/strange sound when i'm accelerating/decelerating around 4k rpm.
This fact can be seen on video (car is parked, neutral on, clutch pedal pressed), hope that recorded sound will shed some light on a problem, asking for help here, coz i'm newbie... and not a mechanic at all.

Thanks,

Sounds like something is just vibrating against something else at that particular rpm/frequency. Perhaps the exhaust is vibrating against a heat shield or something. I wouldn't be concerned by it.

If the engine is from an early AE92 it could be the TVIS working.
To check you could disable the TVIS by pulling the vacuum hose from the actuator. TVIS would not work but the noise may also disappear.
