Smashed half moon clip

Postby truenocoupe916 » Thu Aug 20, 2015 5:04 pm

So 1 of my gts corollas that was recently purchased had a lose crank pulley bolt. While driving the bolt fell out and the crank shaft did as well. The half moon clip got smashed to the side and I have no damn clue how to get it out. Any ideas or any actual methods of extraction?

Hard to say what might be possible without being able to see the key. Is the
crankshaft timing belt drive sprocket still on the crankshaft, or did that fall
off as well ?

Here are some pictures to show you how ugly it can get....

You will need to upload the pic to an image hosting site like Photobucket
or Imagur and then copy/paste the IMG link here.
